You Need Drumdin!

Drumdin in a Carival Parade

It has been said that Drumdin are at their very best when we are playing for an audience. We do like to show off a little bit and we will play almost anywhere – carnivals, festivals, parades, fundraisers, weddings, and workshops. Check out our ever-evolving Gig Diary to find out when and where you can hear us play.

If you would like us to play at an event you are organising then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us to discuss availability and fees.

Drumdin Needs You!

New members are always welcome.  It doesn’t matter if you have never played an instrument before. We will provide the drums and teach you all you need to know. We work on the basis that if you can count to four then you can play samba. It’s that easy!

We meet once a week on Wednesday evenings, between 7 and 9 pm, at The Soundroom. There is car parking space just off Cuthbert Street, behind the Soundroom. Also, there is a 53/54 bus stop just outside. Alternatively, it is 15min walk from Gateshead Centre / Metro.

You can just turn up on a Wednesday evening and we will look after you. However, it is probably a good idea to contact us beforehand, either here or on Facebook. That way you can confirm that we will be there (occasionally we are called away for gigs on a Wednesday). Either way, we have a friendly and relaxed atmosphere that will make you feel right at home.
