Have you ever wanted to try Brazilian percussion? Join our beginners' course and experience the energy of Samba Reggae direct from Brazil. Our 4 week course will give you the chance to learn the fundamental rhythms and techniques in a relaxed, friendly environment.

About DrumDin

Our music combines tradtitional Afro-Brazilian rhythms with Funk, Hip-Hop and Drum&Bass to create our unique sound, guaranteed to keep the energy up and get you on your feet!

We have performed throughout the UK and beyond; including regular appearances at Newcastle Pride, the Great North Run, Whitley Bay Carnival, and Mouth of the Tyne Festival, as well as more exotic locations: we were invited to perform at Festival Repercussão 2018 in Brussels and at Carnaval in Brazil in 2020 alongside Bloco Muzenza

Performance Opportunities

We perform regularly at events across the region and beyond; including the Great North Run, Whitley Bay Carnival, and Newcastle Pride. Our more exotic gigs have taken us as far as Belgium and Brazil!

Open Membership

All ages and abilities welcome, no experience required and all instruments provided. Join us every Tuesday evening to connect with our group and experience the energy of Samba Reggae
