Drumdin is the North East's premier samba band, welcoming new members to share our passion for Brazilian samba reggae music. Join us for rehearsals every Tuesday evening in Benton.

Experience Samba Reggae

In 2020, we took 15 drummers to Salvador, Bahia, to study and perform at Carnaval. In 2024, we hosted iPadê Ilû UK, welcoming over 70 drummers to learn from Mestre Memeu.

iPadê Ilû

In 2024, we hosted iPadê Ilû UK, welcoming over 70 drummers from across the UK and Europe to learn from mestre Memeu, a leading authority on samba reggae.
